What is kept, and why
The home page, this page and the sign-in page can be read by anyone. The videos and documents can be read by people the administrator has approved. This page says what the site keeps in order to do that.
What is kept
- Your email address, when you ask for access, with the time you asked, whether the administrator approved it, and when.
- A sign-in code, only as a one-way scramble, only for the ten minutes it works, and not at all once it has been used.
- A feedback message, if you send one from the home page, with the time, and the email address only if you chose to give one. It is kept until the administrator deletes it, and the administrator is emailed it.
- Counters that slow down anyone guessing, each filed under a scramble of an address or of an IP address, so that none holds a readable address. They are overwritten when their hour is up.
- One cookie, set when you sign in and lasting a day, that says you are signed in. It is needed for the site to work, it is sent only to this site, and a page cannot read it.
Nothing is kept about what you watch or read. There are no analytics, no advertising, and no request from any page to another site.
Who handles it
The administrator sees each address that asks for access, and each feedback message. The site is hosted by Netlify, which also holds the records above. The sign-in emails, and the feedback emailed to the administrator, are sent by Resend. The address is not sold or shared with anyone else.
Having an address removed
Reply to any email the site has sent you, or say so in a feedback message. The administrator can delete the record entirely.
This is a plain description of what the site does, not legal advice.
